The Lord has released a supernatural ease over the assignments of his appointed ones.

The Lord had been repeating the word “ease” for a number of months now in preparation for a coming time. The specific release of this declared “ease” has been assigned to the present season.

This “ease” does not indicate a removal of trials, but it points to a magnetic-like rhythm that the Spirit of God is seeking to draw his appointed ones into. This rhythm is where the Spirit of God’s grace, favour and strategy is flowing purposefully, with clarity, and in abundance for this season, and it’s the Lord’s will that his appointed partner with his flow!

The Lord has revealed that many have been rowing upstream. That the work assigned to them by the Lord has felt like a burden, like an uphill climb. But the Lord declared an end to that resistant incline on the 23rd of February 2023, when he released the specific grace of “ease” on his appointed ones. This ease provides wisdom, peace and contentment, even amidst trial.

The Lord’s prophetic instruction for those struggling to recognize and walk in this declared “ease” is:

“FIND MY CURRENT, AND BE SWEPT INTO IT!”

Ocean currents are “continuous and directed movements of ocean water. These currents are on the ocean’s surface and in its depths, flowing both locally and globally. Winds, water density, and tides all drive ocean currents.” (NOAA, 2011)

They are loosely described as underwater “rivers” that are directional (ie. they have purpose, they are not aimless), and that move large bodies of water – along with their nutrients – from one portion of the ocean to another. Some currents are short, whilst others are long. Some are shallow, whilst others are deep.

There is a specific, DEEP current that the Lord has assigned to you this season!

The Lord is petitioning you not to mistake the visible ocean waves as being the deep ocean currents that he has called you to align with in this season.

Don’t get swept into what the world is doing, or how they are doing it, or its patterns and rhythms, instead, identify the Lord’s appointed current for your assignment, and for your life, and surrender to it’s trajectory.

It is in this current that you will experience GREAT EASE. The light burden. The easy yoke. (Matthew 11:28-30)

The Lord has declared in this time: no more swimming upstream!

Only recognise his nudging, and allow yourself to be swept into his flow.

Concerning ocean currents, we are informed that

“By moving heat from the equator toward the poles, ocean currents play an important role in controlling the climate. Ocean currents are also critically important to sea life. They carry nutrients and food to organisms that live permanently attached in one place, and carry reproductive cells and ocean life to new places.” (emphasis added)

This current that the Lord is streamlining you into will provide efficiency in the ministry assigned to your life.

You will effectively deposit necessary nutrients in every space you pass through.

You will carry and ignite revival fire (new life, awakening) wherever you pass through, and you will transform dynamic systems for God’s glory.

Your surrender to the Lord’s current will snowball the shifts of systems and structures, and these processes will take place in the deep (the secret place).

As you surrender to the Lord’s current for your assignment amidst the surrounding pressures, you will successfully bring about lasting & righteous reformations, shifts, and transformations in the Lord’s appointed areas.

There are Ezra’s, Mordecai’s, Esther’s & Deborah’s in the mix of these appointed currents. As well as Gideons, Rahab’s, Nathaniel’s and more.

Mentors, mentees, those who are rough around the edges, those who are soft spoken, sceptics that have been won over, those who – like Moses – have uttered “Lord, please send someone else”, teachers, prophets, apostles, pioneers and more.

The seemingly “obvious” choices alongside the “unsuspecting” ones shall work in unison, complimenting one another as the earth is quite literally transformed from its depths, and the earth is set alight and reformed for the GLORY of the Lord!

Awake, awake! Jump into the current of the Lord in this season. Don’t merely observe it as it passes you by!

Respond to the nudge of the Lord, that prompting deep within you, and leap in. Allow it to carry you to the resource wells that you need to stock up on nourishment. Allow it to take you through the necessary training required for your endurance. Allow it to carry you through areas that are in need of what you are filled with (your testimony, the word, revelation, prophecies and instruction) and pour out generously, not reserving anything that the Lord instructs you to pour out.

Let the current of the Lord sweep you off your feet!

It is here, IN THE FLOW OF THE LORD’S CURRENT, that you will find ease. It is here where you will operate and thrive in the ways you were always designed to.
